MSN Email Address Verification
Right. This is getting on my tits severly. (i never understood that phrase, not being female i don't appear to have any tits - oh well)
MSN Messenger - i signed up for a passport AGES ago with my non-hotmail email addy. my previous passport used a hotmail one.
now it said my email addy was not verified. fair enough. rahter nice of them to let me use their services with an unverified address i thought. my name came up with (Email Address Not Verified) after it.
i proceeded to verify it (File>>Verify...) and it had an error.
quite some time later it magically appeared to start working again. (quite some time of all my friends getting rather annoyed with my name having crap after it in brackets, rather a lot like this paragraph)
however, when i pressed verify it never sent the email. i pressed resend and it still didnt send it. they said 24 hours. i have tried this countless times over the last few months
i stopped using msn a bit lately, it was annoying me with disney noises, but today i started again. I did the email verifiying thingie and it still hasnt worked.
seems like ms dont care about msn - i know they run the service at a loss (they do it cos it makes it hard to forget who made your os) but surely they can do better than this
my dsl internet connection normally gets 60kBs. from their site downloading the cleint it was about 2. took ages.
anyone else had similar probs?
