    can anyone help me on this i have purchased a1990 brg 1000cc mini on a g reg can i run this car on uleaded petrol:thumbs

    Its your own choice, but i would say yes you can, ive run older mini`s on Unleaded, not had any problems, they seem to run a bit hotter thats about it!!! Good luck!

    I think the ones with a cat can and cars built after 1989 they can run unleaded. or if it's got high milage. If it don't you can get hardened valves seals put in cost about £80.

    yes all post 89 cars run on unleaded. Infact... all minis will run on unleaded. There is so much crap kicking about in a 80K+ engine itll keep running for the normal length of the engine and by that time your gonna replace it with a post 89 anyway cause the box will start to go first. (listen for a low whine at low speeds).
