problem with network card(cable) + network card(wireless)

Currently i have a network setup where by which a server connects to the net. the server connects to a switch which 5 other computers connect to and share then internet(this works). I have now tried connecting a another computer to the server but instead of going through the switch i have connected a wireless card to the server and one to a computer. The computer can ping server , but i cannot manage to access the internet. Does any one know what the problem could be??
