    Default Dads OLDDDD phone dies

    hiya guys

me dads old old philips (i think its the) C12 phone has just given up the ghost.
he is on O2 (well cellnet) and has about 80quid in credit on it. he's tryed his sim in another phone (same model he thinks) and it didnt work, and i've tryed it in mine (samsung x100) and it dont work either. is it becuase the philips is still analogue? its the only reason i can think of.

either way, would you think that O2 would provide a new SIM (diff number/same number, doesnt really matter though) with the 80quid credit on that was on it?

also by the way he was on a talktime that O2 wanted him to leave, basically as it was a free phone home one and also for some peculier reason the credit never seemed reset at the end of the month as it was supposed too :coffee: :nowords:

    any ideas anyone?

Had it before that the sim is that old it will not marry to the new phones technology ?? Noticed you said he had a lot of credit in a Cellnet C12 ??????? basher perhaps, if so it will not transfer the credit

did you buy that new m8 ??? because are you sure because all c12`s were married to sim but you can unlock them to use other sims and i think thats what you got ??
