Default finally thinking of getting a Cube

    Hi,

I am finally thinking of getting a Game cube as I am keen to play Res Evil zero, Can anyone suggest a good place to buy one or a good bundle being done at the moment. Also what titles are the best to get - Now I am not a Nintendo fan as I dont really like Mario titles or platformers . I was looking at th e new starwars title but I am not sure ifs its any good or not and zelda while a great game bored me on the N64. Whats eturnal darkness like as this looks like my cup of tea.

Also I am reading very mixed results from the BBA and rom approach - is this really worth my time ? Are the games actually playable ?

If anyone has a 2nd hand one going with these titles PM me.

    cheers

gamestation sell 2nd hand for £55
game do a new ine with the zelda collectors pack for £79.99 or £109.99 with the collectors pack + any game.

eternal darkness is very good but now its a budget title so watch for price, the new star wars gaame didnt sell well, its very pretty but sadly too much like the previous 2 rogue squadron games, however i must say that i enjoyed clone wars (another budget title).

if you like rpg's then final fantasy : crystal chronicles is pretty cool (pal version due out in about 3 weeks) if you plan on playing import titles then a freeloader or action replay is essential.

for playing from your pc a broadband adapter (£35 from gamestation) is required as is a copy of Phantasy star online (expect to pay around £30 even 2nd hand), try to stay clear of third part pads as they suck, a gba player is a good addition especialy if you have a gba flash card setup

most games played from the pc are in the main fine its just loading times that can be a pain at some points, however its worth pointing out that if you are more used to xbox or ps2 you will care less about it, the gamecube load times on original discs are almost zero so it is noticeable to hardened gamecube players.

you should also consider getting resident evil 1 remake as it is about 50% bigger than the original version. both re 1 & 0 should be in the £20 price range now if you look around.

thanks for the good advice ABCman - are the correct versions of PSO still easy to come by or is there a fixed version I should avoid.

ALso - can you play import Rom's with the BBA & PSO on the UK Cube somehow ? My missus has an eye for Animal crossing

    cheers
