    Winning Eleven's renowned Master League mode continues the trend of 
    massive improvements with an all-new format, and 40% more features 
    over Winning Eleven 6. The competition now takes place within 4 regional
   leagues. Players will select the region in which they wish to participate 
   and work their way up through the divisions in an attempt to compete in the 
   Champions League. Additionally, the Master League introduces the ultimate
   franchise tool, a player "search engine", allowing managers to search through 
   the entire league for players with the specific skills, position, contract
   terms and salaries they are looking for. 

   Along with its popular cup tournaments, practice mode, friendly matches 
   and a greatly expanded Master League, Winning Eleven 7 introduces a "Shop"
   element to the game. This feature adds a greater level of depth to the
   series, allowing players to earn points in training and exhibition games.
   These points can then be traded for new players, teams, stadiums, crowd 
   effects, and strategies.

Oh shit, Love this game and had a lucky break just when I needed it!! Dont get this kind of gameplays often,

ok 5 stars, its 87th minute and the oponent scores.....Im 10 men since 50th minute or so....I had my chances but my finishes suck.

Anyways I start with the ball. Raul dribles 1 player, then 2 players at the same time...and a 4th and I am just infront of the big box, I shoot and SCOOOOORE!!!! An equalizer just in time!!!!!! : ) ok anyways, the game feels great and I havent yet found a new move.

From what I`ve read its not ment to be too much of an improvement just a revamped version.

Just waiting for WE8 later on in the year.

The WE7 patched version is sweet at the mo..... this version I pressume still hasnt been patched ?

No, youre right....the changes are small such as handball being less frequent, and just slight tweaks in AI, and other things. I think as you baronvon that the WE7 has a better feel because of the patches.

I disagree, WE7:Int (Jap version) is alot different compared to PES3/WE7. It relies ALOT more on passing, and is alot harder to dribble past players. It's alot better than WE7 in my opinion.

Now WE7:Int US Version, its just a port of PES3 to the US market. No updates at all, no gameplay changes, no new animations.

WE7:Int Jap version is definitely worth getting, it feels like a new game.

So true, I played more of the game and agree that it has become alot better......There handball is played less, and the let go play has become great- sadly the winter transfers arent updated.

no probs Porthos, it really is worth getting. Here's my mini-review i posted on numerous WE msg boards:

The passing is so much better, and its alot harder to dribble.
Crosses are greatly improved, you can really whip them in now.
Defensive headers can be cleared a good distance, whilst its harder to score offensive headers.
There's plenty of new animations too, and cut scene's. One includes the opponent picking a player up after he commits a foul
Player response has also improved, the players don't wait for the ball now you can move them towards the ball alot better.
One major improvement is the advantage rule, this time it actually works. The CPU commited a foul, yellow icon pops up but my other player still had the ball, he lost it after 3 seconds so play was called back to the original foul. Brilliant!
Less Handballs, only seen a couple of them so far. Which is better as they were given too often in PES3.
Corners seem alot harder to score from, most of the time defenders clear the ball now.
Off the ball incidents. Players get fouled, pushed over off the ball.
Also goalkeepers can drop the ball and run with it by pressing R1, good new feature for quick breaks.


Loading time has improved too.

I'm going to buy a PS2 this week just to get this game. Been spanking the xbox too much lately anyway. Had Winning Eleven 5 2 years ago(Think it was 5) Liked the Jap commentry better!!

Is it tons better than ISS2 on xbox ?
