Got a Cube !!!

OK finally Bought a Cube

And amazingly !!! - they also had a BBA and PSO and Freeloader all 2nd hand.

what I need to check now is that they are the right versions etc.

first thing
The freeloader is the one I am concerned about - how can I tell the version ? and what is best ? - I am still at work at the moment so I havent been able to boot it up yet, so if it come up is big neon letters saying version 1.X on boot up then I apoligise for the asking how to tell - I think it is V 1.0

Second thing

The copy of PSO is episode 1 & 2 - and was 2nd hand - is there a way to see if its the correct one before I spend hours trying it out in vain

and finally - is it better to use ISO or GCM files - as GCM are compressed=slower ?? I have Cubesoft Phoenix 2.1 si the best thing to be playing with ?

OK finally got it work - playing animal crossing US version lovely.

One last question - how do I make backup roms of my own games ?

for freeloader just boot it
look on the main screen for either 1.4 or 1.6 (the only 2 commercial ones) in the bottom corner if memory serves me correctly.

Easiest way to tell version on a freeloader is to look on the recorded side of disc, its printed around the outside of the disc hole will say V.1.04 or V1.06

Does any version of PSO still work? Have a US cube and finally DVDBoxOffice were about to ship the game (after ordering it in like November) but the credit card didnt go though (just expired!) is it worth re-ordering?
