its states 'Retail-Lite', anyone know what this means? :nowords:

    heh
The Lite retail versions do not come bundled with the software bundle and are packaged with the neccessities needed to enjoy the pinnacle in performance from Sapphire alone.

The ATi one is better than the saphhire one. Saphire use shitty heatsink and fans on thier GPU's and their overall build quality is pretty crap.

If yours is indeed built by Ati then you sir have got an excellent bargain.

Bah! the fan on that card they sent me is playing up. :annoyed:

Needs a little persuasion to get going if I shut down PC then back on again, however, if I just restart it keeps going....

Trying to RMA see what they have to say...

dude RMA is not set up to be drawn out or complicated, you have a fault they can not resolve over the phone or internet they tell you send it back give an ram number you send it back they replace deal done
if it were me i would send it back if the fan has problems you might as well get what you paid for, a fully working piece of kit, not something you need to spend more on just to get to the standard you are already at.
RMA can be a pain but the sooner you get the ball rolling the less room they have for getting out of it :thumbs
:kissass  Hmm I wonder which 3 this is ????

    Re: Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro

I'd watch out for the P&P as sometimes these companies ask you to send via recorded/registered delivery. If that's the case then you might end up paying more for P&P than you would for a replacement fan? On the other hand if it's freepost then your quids in
