Bid-up.tv, fukin thick fukers or shameful conmen?

I saw a floor lamp on the TV channel Bid-up.tv that I liked, anyways, I missed out on it but remember it sold for �16. I looked at their website and I saw a floor lamp, which I tried to look at but their website refused to find the fukin image for it, I thought what the hell lets take a chance, after all how many different floor lamps they gonna be selling on the same day. Turns out it was fukin 2 and yes, I picked the wrong one.

Anyways I won the auction, within 5 minutes of the auction finishinh I called their customer support line, explained the situation and my wish to cancel the order, 'oh dear' the bloke said as if scripted, 'I'm afraid the order has already gone through to the warehouse, I might not be able to stop it' he continued, again it sounded like a scripted reply. Anyways after a bit of protesting and telling him that I would rather kill myself, my family and everyone in our village than have that lamp in my home he assured me the order was cancelled and wouldn't leave the warehouse.

At 08.30 this morning the lamp arrived...................

And what should I do now, its gonna cost me the �6.95 postage as thats non refundable, its gonna cost a similar amount to send back and the thing only cost �19.95 in total. Fukin fukers, if I was a **** I'd think they'd sent it on purpose knowing people would rather eat their own shit than send something back.

And another thing, the quality of the products they sell on price-drop.tv and bid-up.tv is ****, its one step up from the stuff the bloke sells outta a suitcase on the market, pure tat.

You could always sell it on ebay stating bid-up.tv's original RRP. You might even make a profit?

I bought a gold chain of them RRP �1,120. I got it for �300 and thought nice one. I was in a jewllers and asked how much it was worth as I was going to sell it and make a nice profit. He weighed it and said he sold the same ones for �400. A big of a difference. :nowords:

Its like buying from these 'closing down' places that take over unused shops for a short period. Always selling things like lugage...

I had a similar problem with a watch that i cancelled because believe it or not even though there was an aution the goods wasn't in stock so i cancelled it yet it came about a week later contacted them and they credited me in full including carriage, either they collected it or i sent it back rmsd and advised of the cost so they could credit that as well.

Give them a bell, tell them it was cancelled prior to dispatch and see what happens
