2 b honest everything on the list bar Vicar Of Dibley would get my vote.
somemany classic brit sitcoms, the young ones, bottom, red dwarf, terry and june.......

Even though some of the sitcoms on the list are excellent, such as Blackadder and OFAH, the rest are just plain rubbish.
In my own opinion, i think The Office should be there.

Had to be Fools & Horses. Funny as hell for years, and still makes everyone laugh now. A true classic

It is between fawlty towers and only fools and horse for me. I'd choose fawlty overall though.

Yes Prime Minister was the best sitcom ever. the Writing and the comic timing between Nigel Hawthorne and Paul Eddington is brillaint.

Only Fools and Horses, it has a distinctly British feel (although obviously many others do) and it just has/had all the right ingredients for a great sitcom.

yeh i totally agree - surprised that no-one else has mentioned it!
one foot in the grave is genius, very dark, but brilliant humour!

only fools and horses just doesnt do it for me - don't find it remotely funny, never have.

Only fools and horses is the best sitcom ever easily. I will live and die but that show.
but on the other hand, some others are truly great aswell:
Porridge
Red Dwarf
Fawlty Towers
BlackAdder
One foot in the grave.

All those sort of comedys are great.
But fools and horses is deff my choice.
