Default Monitor seems to have died

I have a Smile 19" monitor that wont boot up..
Before it died it was making the odd klick and the screen would fade into the background slightly then come back to normal, the monitor worked like that for about a week then one day I switched it on and nothing only klicking noises like when it changes resolution etc...I had a quick look inside and there appears to be 2 clear boxes about half the height of a tic tac box and inside there are copper coils and a metal switch plate at top, The metal switch plates seem to be just clicking on and off...any ideas if this can be fixed or is it finished...thanks for any help

It sound knackered. There are some companies that will repair monitors for you but i think it will be cheaper to buy a new one.

How old is it? You usually get 3 years warrenty with monitors

Some companies are not always that bad with monitor repairs. I got a broken 17" off my neighbour and got it repaired for £35.
