Default A sad day for Flipper321...

....from now on I will be posting evenings/weekends only, the powers that be at my workplace have now added chat/forums to their exclusion list and I can no longer acces DF.

    I am severely p*ssed.

you have tried a webtunnel or setting up a personal redirect so it doesnt mention forums in the address bar?

    we have filtering at school

df isnt filtered, but it will be soon when they see how much time certian peple spend on it

you can get past the filter, just go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and put in the adress of the site, set to trasnlate from some strange language to enlgish and there you go!

only works for text, not for pictures so no porn but df should be ok, if a little bare with none of the funny little icons etc.

Yup- babelfish link throughs get picked up by the blocker - I know there are anonymous web proxies but the last thing I want is to get caught using them at work.

ABCman - not really sure what you mean - was thinking about VPN but pretty certain that all the ports will be blocked by work firewall.

Think I may just accept it as it seems that all sites I've been visting are now getting blocked (i.e. they are watching me)

or u can access df by using frontpage to browse works for me (just type in addy in the editor then click on preview and click on the addy u created), if thats doesnt work then try using the ip instead of domain name to browse sites

    http://network-tools.com/

use that site to convert domain to ip

prob is "cgiproxy" will be filtered under nph-proxy.cgi. you need to find one which has been renamed so it doesnt contain "proxy" in the name and obviously at home rather than searching "free proxy" from school/work lol

it's still loading the page from digital-forums.com though. that will only con the most basic of filtering systems! unless raptor sets another random domain to read out of the digital-forums folder on the webserver you need to use a proxy to get past 99.9% of systems

that wont defeat any firewall filters - they will see it loading a df frame in exactly the same way as loading df normally
