    Default The Olympic Games

An Englishman, a Scot, and an Irishman all show up to try to get in to see the
Olympic Games. The problem is, none of them has any money.

They sit down together to see if they can get any ideas when the Englishman
notices a nearby construction site. "Watch this," he says, and going over to
the site he finds and picks up a long pole.

Walking up to the entrance gate with the pole under his arm he says,
"Carruthers....England....javelin." The gatekeeper looks at him a moment and
    says, "Okay, go on in."

The Scot, having observed all this goes over to the construction site and picks
up a manhole cover. Going up to the entrance he says,
    "MacGregor....Scotland....discus throwing."

The gatekeeper squints at him but finally shrugs his shoulders and says, "All
    right, go on in."

At this the Irishman gets up and going to the construction site picks up a roll
of barbed wire and walks up to the gate saying,
    "Murphy....Ireland....fencing."
