nice one mate - is that a runway accross the lake?

i cant quiet make it out, there doesnt appear to be anything abnormal in the pictures from what i can make out. Another set of eyes will probably pic something out tho...

Yep runway goes right across the dry lake.

Good fun place to go. As you can imgagine with the yanks there are some larger than life characters out in the desert.

Stayed at the little ale`in which I have to say is the most welcoming place i`ev ever stayed in.

Town of Rachel only has a pop of about 90 however many visitors pass through.

I stayed there for 10 days. Watching during the day and getting pi$$ed at the bar at night listening to all the stories.

hi the sat images are not that good as they can simply zoom in total and read the tags of the car and see a person no problem.

Basically, the guy who runs the site took a plane out and took photos of the base from the air.
