I heard somewhere that Vin Diesel was going to sign for the third, but Paul Walker has dropped out, so Vin Diesel decided not to do it either now.

first one was far fetched but original so quite good.. however the second, although it was well presented, had a stupid story and again too unrealistic. I think the quality will worsen with time and if a third comes out it will ruin the series.

It was an almost exact copy of "Point Break" with Cars instead of Surf boards.

Lets look at the similarities.

They are both cops infiltrating the gang to see what they are up to.
The cop has trouble being accepted by both the gang in PB and FF
It takes the love intrest to help get them accepted in both films.
Both Gangs get up to shit, in PB its robbing banks, in FF its robbing trucks.
They both have cool hobbies, in PB its surfing and partying, in FF its racing supercars and partying.
The cop falls for a girl connected to the gang in both films
The cops love for the girl comprimises his mission in both films.
The cop lets the bad guy away in both films.

I remember watching Fast and the Furious over in the Cinema at Universal studios in Flodrida.....simply amazing, loved the film, and the cinema there was best i have ever seen.....Perhaps thats why i love the show so much. I agree that they need Vin back, even though the second one was decent still, bringing Vin back would give it a purpose as its persuing an old character we all want to know what happened to.

How can u not like Vin Diesel??!!! I hope they do make a 3rd. I love fast and furious and think it is original no matter what any1 says. But they cud have done with more of a storyline in the 2nd.

perhaps cos hes a big lump that cant act, plus when you say you still think its original. did you not read my earlier post about it being the same as point blank but with cars instead of surfing. Its fact.

Actually reading that thing on CHUD a third might work.

Itll be a what happened to paul walkers character for the 2nd and what happened to vin for the 3rd.
