Newsgroup question

Been sniffing around the console servers and noticed that alot of the iso files are difficult to read what the title is as they tend to be abrieviated as you might read in an NFO file.

Is there a simpler way to make sense of these ?

isnt the nfo file there to download? of so grab that or you could search for the filename on nforce, maybe itll find a relevent nfo

Sign up with www.newzbin.com They have nzb files which you download from them and load them into the newsreader and it adds all the parts into the queue. This also means you dont need to update headers. Everything is listed properly on newzbin regardless of what the filename is on the newsgroup. You do have to pay but its only about $2 a month or something.

or if u dont wanna do that go to the irc channel for each group, like alt.bin xbox or whatever, now in your news reader you will see a 4 or 5 digit number before each game, go into the irc chan for that group and there is a command to type in with the 4 digit number, it then gives you the title of the game.

Sorry i cant remember the command to type m8, but when you get there you should find it no probs, i was buzzin when i found this out coz i had the exact same problem you did, but now i dont use IRC anymore so thats why i dont remember the command
