if you've got windows xp,
my computer > control panel > appearence and themes > choose a screensaver
hope that helps
Cheers for the reply, but i want to take off a screen saver and put it onto floppy for someone else, need to know the filename extension, or the folders their stored in, in order to whisk it off to the floppy drive.Originally Posted by ALZ
Its on Windows 98 aswell, not my own computer.
Thanx anyway
File extension is generally .scr I think. In the main windows directory?
.scr or .exe depending - i think the .exe ones just create .scr s when you run them the first time tho
c:\windows or thereabouts for windows 98 and 95, c:\winnt for win2k and c:\windows for winxp (actually win2k and winxp might store them somewhere else i am just guessing - win98 is definitly c:\windows tho)
