Mobile + Laptop = Internet

Friend of mine wants to connect to the net through a laptop and his mobile, whats the easiest way to do this ? Laptop is a Hewlett Packard, mobile is a Nokia 6510. Phone Network is O2. He`s Russian so i need to keep it simple as possible because of language barrier. Thx

get a data lead and connect to your phone. Install nokia data suite..which will install the modem driver for your phone. Dial up a internet connection on the laptop..BUT make sure the phone modem is selected in connection properties..i used to use this method on virgin mobile on the 5110 when they used have 0808 numbers free of chrage..god did that get abused..but im not sure whether the 6510 has a internal modem
