Prince of Persia......??

I have been playing prince of persia recently and I absolutley love it which is great because I never played the original POPs (noticed there on this game too tho).

This is my kind of game, I like the way that it is quite puzzling at times and you have to think how to get to the next stage.

BUT- Im having a bit of a problem. There seems to be INVISIBLE ENEMIES on my game ! :coffee:
I can tell this because in some parts you have to kill all the enemies to unlock a save point where you have the visions. Sometimes it seems as though i have killed all the enemies but if i draw the sword the character seems to stare at some places and it is clearly an enemy, I have to jump over them then stab in the back so I know where they are.

So, is this SUPPOSED to happen or is something wrong with my game? I am running it from the HD and it is the CSiSO release. Its not completley ruining the game for me as I can manage but it is quite annoying and I want to play the game properly.

mine does that too.. i find if you reverse time using the dagger they come in to view, so i presume it's part of the game, like they are in a slightly different dimension or somthing

no thats wrong its because your playing it in PAL mode change to NTSC mode and its fine.

its not supposed to be like that at all

my game gave me dirty disc errors after i defeated all those enemies when i opened the sands of time

you have to play it in NTSC mode or you will get invisible enemies and dirty disc error.

hmmm. thanks for the tip bobbydavro that may be a solution. Thought I would mentin though that I changed the clock which was slightly out of date and have not had any problems since- through to about 50% of the game. I agree though that they should definatley not be there.
The tv convected to my xbox doesnt support NTSC so I'll just hope it was a problem with the clock, but if the problem happens again i'll use a different tv and play in NTSC.

you still get it on ntsc mode

that was exactly my prob if i turn pal mode on i get inivisible dudes turn it to ntsc and it works fine

LOL your right mate, last night for the first time in ages i saw some invisible enemies again. You can make them all visible by going into slo-mo mode by quickly tapping the L button, but obviously its a bit annoying.
Im gonna have to take the xbox downstairs and play it on my decent TV in NTSC mode...

played this up to the moon dial puzzle and cant say ive seen this problem at all, fukin moon dial is a twat tho cant do it, even the puzzle solution on gamefaqs is wrong, followed it to the letter and it didnt work.

havent got that far yet, stuck on trying to beat the bad guys (ive forgotten the level name).. the level where theres 4 bad guys and an older one, with the princess firing arrows...

(sounds dumb I know)

Nice game, a little different, although I have the PS2 version.
Does not offer much of gameplay though, I finished it at 98% in 11 hours, and when you play for the second time you can cut a good few more hours.

So I traded it and Max Payne 2 in for Final Fantasy X-2, which offers a lot more.
