    try this
To change the system's swap file size:

Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop. A shortcut menu appears.

Click on Properties. The System Properties dialog box appears.

    Click on the Performance tab.

Under Advanced Settings, click Virtual Memory. The Virtual Memory dialog box appears.

Click Let me specify my own virtual memory settings.

Enter the appropriate Minimum and Maximum paging file sizes.

    Click OK.

    Click OK.

    try that

I'd be more bothered about where it's all gone rather than just throwing some more space at it m8, if it's been working OK then why has it changed?
I'd check the sys with spybot and virus checkers then see how much is actually running on the system without being requested.
Taskmanager will show what's running and the resources in use - ctrl+alt+del.
MSconfig will show what gets loaded automatically on startup - start > run > msconfig.
How to use msconfig : h**p://netsquirrel.com/msconfig/
What the entries refer to : h**p://www.geocities.com/greyknight17/startup_list.htm
