Slayers taking 5gb

Hi, I re-installed my xbox using slayers disk (standard retail box) and I only seem to have 3.5Gb of space left on my E: drive to copy games into.

I`ve checked round the directories and can`t see anything, I`m just wondering why or even how it can take 7gb of space.

I`ve deleted all the files I can think of (and some I forgot ) and I`m not on around 5gb free - so its still taking 5gb??

u dont get anythin near 10gig on the E drive anyway, 2 gig would go to the F and the remailing is split over the C, E, X, Y and Z

Is there no way to make it the maximum available space is on one partition, allowing more games.

no - just the way it needs the disk split for swap space etc.
