free channels on sky

Can any one please help. Just been looking on e-bay and some one is selling a manual telling u the codes for veiwing foreign channels and live premier league matches on sky for free. Can any one please tell me how to do this or is it a load of crap. cheers

The only free channels you'll get are the local ITV stations, here's how...


Select "4 System Setup", then select "4 Add Channels" at the next menu.

Now use the arrow keys to select the Frequency, Polarisation, Symbol Rate and FEC as shown in the list below:

10.832/H 22.0 and 5/6 Carlton/LWT, Carlton Central, Carlton Westcountry, HTV Wales, HTV West.

10.891/H 22.0 and 5/6 Anglia, Border England/Scotland, Granada, Meridian, Tyne Tees, Yorkshire.

10.906/V 22.0 and 5/6 Channel Islands, Grampian, Scottish, UTV.

Now select "Find Channels" - A list of available channels will appear. Select the channels you wish to add by pressing the YELLOW button. Then press "Select" when finished.

Your set top box will then display "Channel Line-up Complete". Press "Select" to continue.

The new channels can now be viewed by selecting "Other Channels" from the services menu.

you can also get dubai tv business, sport and general, not sure of the freq off hand, they sometimes have interesting stuff on, mainly on the sport front though.
