    Default Using 75 ohm cable rather than 50 ohm

    I WAS CURIOUS IF ANYONE HAD HAPPENED TO KNOW IF USING 75 OHM CABLE RATHER THAN THE NORMAL 50 OHM CABLE FOR MY SCANNER'S ANTENNA COAX?????

    I think you'll find that the input to your scanner would be 50 ohm, and you could get a signal loss if you use the higher 75 ohm

    You would get a signal loss but depends on the line lenth from antenna to scanner. If its a short lenth, then dont worry about it, its not like your going to transmit from it.
