can anyone sugest any where to stay in the uk for a long weekend?

currently in the midlands, lookin for a nice long weekend some where with plenty of attractions?

any recomendations?

also hotel recomendations would be great too

MiltonKeynes... Beautiful concreate buildings, loads of call centers... good transport links to London.... hahaha.

Errr.... how about the Lake district.

the lakes sounds alright only trouble is im relient on public transport get there

Edinburgh is a brilliant weekend, loads to do, masses of pubs and you can easily get there by train.
