Fifa WildCard World Cup Team / World XII

In Four Four Two this month there was a quality letter - the mad idea this chap had was that there should be a FIFA Wildcard team - as so many countries and world class players miss out on playing in the World Cup - they could have a FIFA World XII - consisting of a squad made up of players from the nearly ran's - limited to 3 players from each national side..... It would make sure the World's best - like the Weah's and Best's got the opportunity to play in World Cup. It would stop these rogue Brazilians pretending they are English as well.......

This would also give the fans of those who don't qualify someone to follow.

442 took it one further - and selected a Euro2004 Team of players who will be missing :
Rustu Receber ,Kahka Kaladze ,John Arne Riise ,Sami Hyyoia ,Christian Chivu
Barry ferguson, Emre , Giggs , Duff
Shevchenko & Mutu

But most of those players have or probably will play in the world cup? With the exception of Barry Ferguson and Giggs. And Ferguson is bloody crap anyway.

I can see the point tho m8, it is a shame that Shevchenko and Giggs might never play at the highest international level.

BUT you could have one of these mental sides instead of someone shit - who will lose all their games and not score a goal ... it was only a suggestion like past intentions of a UK Team rather than each nation.
