freezing box

any ideas why my box freezes 4 a split second then it gos okay.then it does it again . :nowords:

could be a lot of reasons, low or high signal, bad or loose connectors something in close proximity causing a spike ie; a cordless or mobile phone.

i had this when i moved my box into another room- the cable which was drylined in the wall was standard coax which was getting interferance from either the mains or telephone leads which wer also running next to the coax cable- it would freeze for a few seconds, then carry on, freeze etc. I replaced the cable in the wall with proper lo-loss sat coax, and no problems since....might be this??
