Also my boss knocked be back for taking tomorrow off stating I have to give 1 weeks notice (even for 1 day off) as I`m prone to asking for days here there and everywhere with very little notice

Just spoke to other managers and not one of them has this rule enforced on them :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:


Anyway, I feel better now, just needed to get that out of my system.

My boss isnt coming in today - this is an extract from the e-mail sent in. I have not edited it in any way...

I've arrnanged somne leave because last night someone went into thr side of our car - and she's still parked there! A neighbour of ours - late 50s woman wh really shouldn't be on the road. and she has no insurance or tax. called police because i just went to see her and she refuses to pay up for damage. she admits she did it. 2 large dents, lots of scrapes, smashed light. she said she has problems parking straight in dark! She's African and he English not good so I do fell a bit sorry for her but... tough - we need the car this weekend to visit friends out of town so I need to get it sorted now, if pos.

a woman at work had 2 days off for compassionate leave coz her kid was sick and she had run out of carer day fecking nhs !

much better today, had it out with the boss (female, so I cant kick $hit out of her !!) after lunch on Thursday. I gave sound reasonable login to my arguement and guess what................................... I got Friday off

Waste of time anyway (kind off) got bladdered on Thursday night (co-op doing 10 330ml bottles of Stella for £5.99 bargain ) then went fishing on friday. Not even a bite in 4 hours !!!!!!!!!

I think my original message was just about letting off some steam

Its monday, its busy but its a good day.

Sold my girlfreinds flat on friday (without her knowing (joke!!)) we only put in on the market on Tuesday, 1 viewing on wed offer on Friday, bit of haggling and done deal.

Very bizarre way of selling property up here in Scotland.

Its kind of the opposite from down south, we asked for offers over £69,995 (even tho its value at £74k) and got £85 for it (hhhmmm new TV and trip to the states me thinks)

Anyway, just fancied sharing that news

A mate of mine was sacked recently for having 378 days off sick in the last 3 years.

He even appealed but lost at tribunal

Some of the guys in my office really take the pi55. Day's off every week, the manager doesn't report it to HR so everyone thinks they are great. If I was off sick I have to complete a form to HR about why I was off. Its f@cking bollocks in my opinion.
