Simpsons Movie... Not That Soon

Lisa Simpson will still be eight when The Simpsons movie comes out -- but the rest of us will be a lot older.

Writers are working on the movie now, according to Yeardley Smith, who voices Lisa. But they won't start making the film until after the series is over -- and she says the series still has at least two seasons to go. Once the show is over, Smith said, it will still be at least three years before the movie hits theatres because "animation takes forever."

well season 15 finishes this week in the usa and the first 5 episodes of s16 are already completed (s16 will air in october, but for the first time a treehouse of horror will not open the season and is currently scheduled to be the 4th episode)

the treehouse of horror were always tied in to halloween so that would explain it?

aint watched the simpsons for years now as it was goin down the pan. Is it still naff or have they started to kick ass again?

I would have rather seen futurama continued and the simpsons canned, personally.

it has went downhill in my opinion, but after so many episodes theres only so much you can do
