Default Blue Screen of Death in XP

I often get the BSOD and I use XP Home.

Sometimes I get hex codes, usually different to the previous crash, with things like IRQ_greater_or_less_than or some other such message.

Sometimes I get just a blue screen.

Sometimes, my modem goes off-line (ADSL, 512K) and I have to unplug it and put it back in.

Some messages refer it seems to drivers but they are all up to date.

    Me confused.

    Any ideas anyone?

If you are getting BSOD errors under XP, then you have a hardware problem.

MY money is on your system RAM being faulty.

ram could be suspect, also check for any new hardware u may have installed.
also check for temps. i used to get blue screens wen my temps were getting to high and made the pc unstable.
