if u are talking about a team dominating domestically then yes as with arsenal and chelsea bieng as good as they are it will be difficult for anyone team to dominate

i do think ersenal lack financial muscle in the transfer maeket but lets face it wenger has not needed it

Yes we're finished just like we are every year we don't win the prem. A spent force as one of the Bitters said to me when we finished third behind Arsenal and Liverpool in 2002. I think we won it again the following year. That was the year Liverpool we're supposed to become a dominant force again having won the treble Buhahahahahahahahahahahahaha the previous year.

Face facts - the squad that you currently have is not full of start and talent as is once was, United are now going to be over achieving in things they accomplish until they revamp.

Giggs=not as lively and clinical as we have all seen him, age is catching up with him

Scholes=great quality player, struggles when on the big stage

RVN=Your greatest player and had a pretty poor end of season, is this a mark of what to expect? or has he had a bad run?

Ole Gunner=Past his best, shoudlnt be good enough for a team like united.

P Neville= Very negative footballer, always passes sideways or backwards - complete waste of squad number

G Neville=Amazingly over rated by United fans and Sven alike - the whole of england barring Utd fans would love to see him break his leg some time between now and the Euros so i think that speaks for itself

Ronaldo=Great player, will be your best in years to come - but perhaps this is only potential and not finished article.

Saha=Doesnt exactly make a statement for the 'Biggest Club in the world' to have this hardly prolific reliable striker as one of their starting two.

Brown=Injury probe, Own goal prone....

Silvestre=hhhm - personally dont think he is good enough for united, but seems to do ok

our defence when all players are fit and available is probably as good as any we have had

our strike force need 1 addition but ruud and saha are going to be good

but its the midfield, i can only think of scholes and ronaldo as players that could show any real consistancy for the next 2 seasons not that sure about the rest, there are too many maybes players like fletcher, kleberson, djemba x 2 etc

we need 2 more proven midfielders

Viduka has proved that he cant cut the mustard when the going gets tough, but I think Smith would be great for you alongside Ruud. Hard for me to say it, but I aint even thinking about rivalry anymore. Would be a great move for him, he has proved this season that he has grown up.

I wouldnt want Viduka , i dont know why i just dont think he is the kinda player man utd need. but smith on the other hand..... love to see him there. he is the kind of player man u need. he got skill, pace, decent in air and more... but the main factor would be the determination. he would fight for the cause and get stuck in and defend.

I watched the Car Thieves and have to say that they dont look much. Fair enough we are in Diviosn 1 - whatever. From a football point of view they are not even close to Arsenal, Chelski or The Scum.

all of them are of the highest quality and any team in the world would be prepared to take any or all on if the chance came up.

Utd may have won the title last season but if they are honest its only because Arsenal gave it to them. As you said the signs were already there of a fallen team on its last legs.
