Nothing to do with this i know (dont really wanna make a new topic though ...)

I was talking to a friend of mine today and he was telling me he has a 2MBit connection from NTL but is only paying for 600k . I asked him if it was like Uncapping and he said he didnt know he paid a mate to do it for him . And hes been using it for months ... and has had no problems

Dont suppose anyone could shed some light on this for me as im interested in this , as long as its not easily dedectible

i assume he wants macs of working subd cable modems so he can clone them and sell boxes that work without needing a sub.

the answers is yes its all over other forums ,get another modem clone a mac from another area and of ya go..oh you need to make up a rs323 interface to do the cloning...free BB..........read up guys before passing comment

and is the punishment for this getting black listed like what they do if you uncap your modem?
or is it difficult to detect
