    Default Latest Updates (BIOS,XBMP etc)

I thinkin my box needs an upgrade as I haven`t touched it for a while.

Can anyone tell what the latest versions of the Bios, XBMP etc are.

I`m having probs booting Manhunt, getting a dirty disk error, anyone had this prob or know how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance guys...

    Yep they are correct.

My BIOS is the one where if my chip is on the XBox X is orange, if not then its green.

All IGR is off and I`ve tried using PAL/NTSC Switchdisk and still the same.

I just get a blue dirty disk screen.

    Cheers.

Just to help my problem, here it is in a bit more depth:

I`ve tried this game from DVD, from HD, straght from the iso (RiOT release).
I have also patched with Craxtion and tried again on dDVD and HD and still the same problem.

The problem being a "Dirty Disk" error.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks!

try flashing your bios with a new X2 bios, it should work in evox, the all in one installers like xdisk can do it if your evox isnt set to do it already

whos that on your sig cueball?

i did have a prob with manhunt on a machine i chipped for a mate, he had a old philips drive and it came up with DDE just after the title screen, i rebuilt the iso and used a princo dye dvdr (which some xbox seem to prefer to ritek) and it worked fine.

A slower burn speed can help with dirty disc errors

I`m using BulkPaq Orange Top 4x disks, which work on everything else I`ve tried (XBox, PC, PS2, DVD etc) and my XBox reads everything including cd`s so I dont think it can be that.

I`ve tried rebuilding the iso I downloaded, and both gave the same error although I noticed that the ISO I downloaded was 2Gb+, when I extracted this and rebuilt the iso using Craxtion the finished iso was only 1.5Gb.

Hookerman: I don`t really want to waste any more DVDrs, and burn speed doesn`t really apply when running from the HD - as I get the same error when running from there.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

True - so long as you've ftp'd the files over to to xbox from a PC

Yep I have, I`m not an expert by any means, but I`m not a newb either, I have transfered files, edited ini etc, all the usual general stuff without any problems before.

Other games I`ve transferred to HD have worked fine, others that haven`t worked I`ve found a HD patch which made it work from there.
I can`t any patch/fix for Manhunt, and all the files are there.

One thing I have noticed is that the original iso was 2.32Gb.
I burnt that, then transferred all the files from the XBox to the PC.
When I checked the size it was down to 1.6gb.

Where has the 800mb difference come from?

And for the record, the 2.32gb gives the same error as the 1.6gb version, both from HD and DVD.

Help - I wanna play this summat rotten!

fe_man: I can`t test in another Xbox, so all that leaves is a bad ISO, which is the Riot release (2.32gb) and no one else has reported a prob with this.
My media is good (used for years without fail) and it doesn`t work from the HD.

Could it be a bad ISO?
