Nero burning

right, planning to burn some audio onto CDR -

been googling, but can't find out why the hell you are limited to putting 80 minutes of audio on a CDR, when this in fact will probaly use less than 100Mb of the 700Mb storage space

can anyone tell me please??

After a wee search, i found you can do something called OVERBURN. Stiil no answer to your question tho, i'm look..... :nowords:

you get 80mins worth of audio on a cd as thats how much space there is on the cd. The music is in normal audio cd format. The cd will be playable in 99% of normal cd players this way.

If you want to put compressed audio (e.g. mp3) on the cd, the you will have to use a data cd, in which case you can put 700 megs worth on it, however this won't be playable in the vast majority of normal cd players.
