    Default ds pricing etc

eb games in america are now listing the nintendo ds available on pre order at $200 with an automatic refund if the price is lower (expected price is $129-149)

they are also listing 16 games at launch retailing at $50 (same as above, expected retail to be $29-39)

the us release date is quoted as 5th november

for what its worth it wont be called the ds when it is released, the current codename of nitro is still a possibility.

its expected that replacement ds touchscreen covers will be available at launch expected retail $5 (a bit similar to the old atari 800 touch pad covers)

I think the only way they're really gonna win the war over the PSP is on price + battery life and if they do come out at $129 then they're gonna shift a shedload of them I bet. I'm still not convinced by the silly stylus idea but will end up getting both PSP + DS anyway.
