    nero burning

    Hi all,

    any ideas as to why nero v6.3.0.0 will not allow me to burn a dvd video that is only 4.59gb ??, i get the following eror message.... there is not enough space to burn this compilation please insert another disc that provides more space ???
    the disc is 4.7gb, i dont understand.

    disc is 4.7 GB - it can store only 4.3gb data with the lead in and lead out track.

    same as the New 8.5 Dual layer DVD's only burn 7.9GB

    thx for the reply bud, any way i can over come this ?? ie shrinking it a little but still be able to play it on dvd player ?

    Can anyone suggest the best/easyiest re encoder I have done it for ages.

    not sure but how about dvdshrink take out subtitles or extras not needed or wanted, sorry if i am on the wrong track

    DVDShrink.
    Very easy to use and an excellent program for the size.
    Always used it and always will.

    shrink does it, nero reencode same author, unless you try to shrink too much quakity fine and easy for first timers
    slow but sure,or is it sure but slow
