    Big Brother eviction is postponed

Big Brother producers have postponed Friday's eviction following a drunken row between contestants on Thursday.

Bosses decided to delay the eviction until next week to help cool the heated atmosphere inside the reality TV house.

But media regulator Ofcom received 87 complaints about Thursday's show

I agree, if you don't like the show then change the f**king channel you sad bastards. It's bad enough that some people were offended and watched it but the fact that 87 sorry miserable lonely tossers took the time to complain is pathetic.

Agreed we finally get proper reality tv and then pull it off air when it kicks off. Should be re-named...controlled reality tv.

I agree, its all good saying this is great, it's reality tv, you get to see everything these people do for 8 weeks or whatever then when a wee brawl urupts they switch you to the garden hose or the oven gloves It's really just a waste of time when that happens so i loose interest = lower ratings.

    WEEKLY EVICTION IS OFF

The Big Brother eviction was postponed after violence broke out between the housemates.

Police are probing events in the TV house after security guards had to step in to break up the brawl and several of the contestants could face criminal charges.

The show's bosses now want to calm the situation and have postponed the eviction until next Friday.

Viewers were due to vote on chucking out Dan or Vanessa.

A Big Brother spokesman said: "We want to let the housemates continue to work through their differences rather than be faced with an eviction."

A fragile peace descended on the house and Nadia decided she would play peacemaker as she apologised profusely for her behaviour.

After a discussion between some of the housemates Nadia decided she should speak to Jason one-to-one.

She said: "I want to apologise, I'm sorry...I didn't mean to lash out at you. I don't know what else I can say."

Jason said: "My behaviour was terrible as well. The place was an absolute disgrace."

During some of the most violent scenes in the early hours of the morning, arch enemies Emma and Victor had to be dragged apart by other housemates.

Emma - bubbling with rage after overhearing Victor brand her racist and stupid while she was locked away in the bedsit - threw a tray at him as their row exploded.

Victor responded by throwing a glass of wine over her.

    From digitalspy

Emma has been evicted from the Big Brother house, Endemol and Channel 4 have confirmed.

In a statement, the producers said:

"We don't think Emma is any more to blame for the events of Wednesday night than anyone else, but we believe this is the best course of action to ensure the welfare and safety of all the housemates, including Emma.

"The house is calm as all the other housemates appear to be working through their issues, but we're concerned that Emma's return might increase the risk of a repeat incident.

    "Emma has accepted our decision."

Emma will follow "normal eviction procedures" and will be interviewed by Davina on Sunday night at 9pm. There will not be a post-eviction press conference.

Find out how the housemates will be told of Emma's departure - DS:BB has the full text of the laminate about to be presented to the house here.

    Totally agree 4me2 !

This is disgraceful. The statement we dont think Emma is any more to blame than anyone else. So why evict her in front of anybody else then ? For the safety of other housemates ! FFS ! If any other housemate couldnt deal with her return, it should be them that go not her.

Surely the whole point of BB is you throw in a load of strangers and they have to try and get on with each other. So what BB is saying now is if they dont get on they'll get rid of the one they cant get on with - totally F*CKED UP BIG TIME.

I disprove of the way they have treated Emma, that I may stop watching this sh1t now.

Not only that but if they all get on - its f*cking boring viewing. Back to BB4 style hell for BB6 I reckon.

So following C4's rules - Jay hates Marco, so evict Marco tonight too. Victor hates Marco, Nadia, and that gang so evict them tonight. In fact they all hate each other, so evict the lot of them tonight ! Your rules C4 not mine !

too true, they engineered a situation which would more than likely explode, and when it did, they evict someone because they only know how to invoke trouble, not calm it fookin tw@ts

as long as Victor stays in to cause more trouble ill be watchin.

Michelle knows what hes like but is too nice to say anything and cause trouble so he'll be safe now.

She deserves serious compensation, I'd like to see what terms and conditions can stop her from sueing. She could argue that she doesn't want any of the press coverage or any of that and decided to accept it all just for a shot at the 100 grand, now they've taken that away she should sue!
