Default FTPing an xIso - illegal filenames

I have this problem rarely but I have it now -I have an XISO and I am attempting to use my normal transfer prog to ftp it over directly from the .iso - BUT the transfer prog presents me with a whole batch of files with 'illegal' filenames from within the .iso.

I have the option of renaming them or not transfering - both would seem fatal to the ability of the image to run :coffee:

Istheis copy protection? A bad Iso(unlikley) a bad transfer prog (tried XFer2.02 and Quik)

I note that all of the files are in the MISC cut of the DATA directory but I am loathe to discard them out of hand.

    Any ideas :|

I dont think its copy protection, but some games do have too long file names, thats why some groups releases hdd fixes. What game is it ? There might be a fix for it.
