help with word

guys, this problem has happened to me on word 2000 and word 2003 i havent tried word xo yet but anyway,

when i go to print a pageborder (box around the page) it will print the top line, the left line and the right line, it will print those completley but it will not print the bottom line, its not my printer (lexmark z13) because in open office it will print the pageborders, ive updated the printer drivers, uninstalled it, reinstalled it same with word and this problem is still happeining...

anyone got ne ideas?

its got to be a print or page setting look through them we all miss one sometimes.

do they appear on the print preview ? The preview is generated using your printer drivers so if the line appears but will not print then its not a driver issue (assuming you have installed the correct drivers and your bottom border is not outside of the area your printer can print to.

..its funny cause it use to print borders fine before

is it cos print is set to letter and not to A4?

if i dont set a scale it will print with the bottom part of the pageborder missing..if i choose to print with it scaled to a4 it prints its straight but still bottomless

Try playing around with the alignment of the page borders and keep going into Print Previes to see how it looks. Make sure that the left had border line is set to show as disappear. It also sounds like that a profile is being saved in your registry, if its happening with Word 2000 &2003. When you uninstall the programs check the registry that all keys associated with this program are removed. GOOD LUCK.

Are header and footer selected in the document, it might be trying to print too much information on the page.

You could also try a complete uninstall of the driver, and then add the printer again.
