When i was doing contract law as part of my course, we weere told, if we got into a Taxi drunk, VERY drunk, then you could refuse to pay, there is something about not being in sound mind or something. It would be interesting if it would cross over to this. But then you would have to prove yiu were indeed drunk upon bidding confirmation i suppose.
But looks like a nice motor, should never buy a car without seeing it though.
Good luck.....Q
What actually happened to the Transit you bought mate. I remember reading the post about you buying it which was pi$$ funny, but don't remember a post about selling it e.t.c..

my offer still stands m8. althought the chewin gum is gone now.
You are right. It is the market rate - BUT for a rover that has done average miles on that plate i.e. 40k. NOT 95k!!Originally Posted by brumbino
It's a diesel.
Diesel engines are good for 250k-300k miles.
Petrol engines 100k-120k.
Urgo it's average mileage for a diesel therefore market rate applies.

Well good luck anyway. But all cars have the '100k' taboo factor and because its a diesel makes no different to most customers.
