most registration companies (i used 123-reg) let you hide:

THE REGISTRANT IS AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS ELECTED TO
HAVE THEIR ADDRESS OMITTED FROM THE WHOIS DATABASE

    Hi,

Thank you very much for your email and assistance.

I can confirm that a request for the removal of your address from the public whois system has been made to the registry and should take effect shortly.

i believe that you can sign up through this site so the registration company never sees your cc details you will need to email them about it
