Wireless hacking/scanning

i have a wireless nic in my laptop, and after driving around the shop yesterday i noticed there were loads of available and open wireless networks that i am able to jump on, look at shared files, and so on,

does anyone have a program that runs on the windows xp OS that will be able to get access to WEP secured systems????

just been curious, as my neighbor has his network secured!
and basically i wanna break in,

or does anyone have a scanner so when im driving around it will detect networks and give me a voice notification that theres a network available?

so its a bootable linux cd, with the 2 progs on it? no need have a dual booting system?
im using a d-link xpert tri-mode card, will it work ok?
