<Lionel Hutz> Oh I am, am I? Is that what you think? Well if that's what you think, I have something to tell you. Something which may shock and discredit you. And that thing is as follows. I'm not wearing a tie at all.

The camera is £225(ish) - plus all the extras I've spent about £450

    Camera £225
    Batteries and Decent Charger £30
    Extra Memory £105
    Case £20
    Teleconverter Lens £70

It's a good thing to remember all the extra's you need when working out what you can afford (particularly power and memory)

But this camera (Canon A80) is worth every penny - can't praise it enough.

Teleconverter Lens is like an add on lense to your camera, e.g. for wide angles etc.

like the picture above, except there are many you can buy to add on to your camera.

A Teleconverter lens is for extra zoom, my camera does up to 3x optical zoom, with a lens adapter and the 2x Tiffen Megaplus Teleconverter I can not get up to 6x zoom. It means when I don't want to carry around a large lens I can keep my 3x optical and compact camera, but if I want more zoom available I can take the lens and attch it when necessary.

The nice thing about the Canon A80 is that with an adapter you can attach all kinds of lens and filters.

    All,
Whats the largest size photo allowed on this forum, as I might have to re-size some before submitting any.

It's something stupidly small like 100kb, you're better off doing like I've done and find yourself some hosting space and resize to about 800x600.

    Cheers Flipper,
I'll have a go and resize them , then check out for any loss of quality.
