Windows XP - Home or Pro?

I know this sort of thing must of been posted countless times before, but here is the dilema!

I have XP pro on my machine and love it, my old man has XP Home and thinks it's ok. I'm going to build a machine and obviously will put XP on it, question is, do I put home on and save £40 for the OEM, or go and give them pro - they will be using it as a stand alone and for the web, no need for the possibility of networking etc...

Your views would be appreciated!

I'd personally go for Pro but if you're going to buy it and you dont need the things you get with Pro, I'd just get Home.
