Ok ive just got a leaflet from pc world and there is a camera on the front a fujiA403, now it says on it

4 Million pixels output
2.1 million pixels effective

What does this actually mean, is it like 4 million pixels with software enhancement or wot.

Anyone know guys??

2.1 million pixels is the actual res of the camera, 4 million will be software on the camera interpolating the actual picture digitally. A lot of the cheap camera's advertise the larger res when they are actually the lower res. The quality of the picture when interpolated in general will be worse than if you did the same thing on a computer.

so basicly they are tw@ts who are just trying to make thiers bigger so you for that one, sounds like the kids in our street when they stand on the corner as the birds go past.
