    Default Star Wars: A New Hope For Homebrew

    From XB-Scene

    Star Wars
    >> Team AfterShock just released their first homebrew Xbox game. From nfo/website:
    STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE FOR HOMEBREW
    Star Wars is our first group game, it supports a short story mode, and a death match of up to 4 humans and up to 8 players (bots).

    Our first release. Seems decent enough to give to the people. We slaved over this for months so you better love it.
    Untamed Rillas should be worth playing. Hopefully that will be out soon.
    There's an md5 check on the media so that you'll know if you download a damaged version. This is the first homebrew to have 5.1 and use the XACT engine.

    On a side note HSDEMONZ made a cool so if you like us, put it in your sig's on all your favourite message boards.

    I have just got this and played it, for 5 meg and homebrew this game is simply amazing

    Screenshot attached.

    Also Game updated already - From XB-Scene

    Star Wars v1.1
    >> Team AfterShock released a new version of their homebrew game Star Wars(info).
    What's new/fixed:
    * Added Y invert option
    * Added Rumble on/off option
    * Added Text to opening screen (mission info)

    More screen shots are at Aftershock

    As for getting the game it's on XBins I haven't looked in the usual spots but I guess it'll be there now or soon.

    BTW... What is the DF policy on Homebrew games?

    Are they deemed legal?

    Are links allowed (not that I have any!)

    erm i think they can only be classed as leagel if they were made with legal s/w (like if u own a legal copy of the xbox SDK) (the develment disk) or if it used open souce s/w

    in short used nothing illegal to make it......

    thats wot would make the most sence
    as it breaks no copy right laws or stuff....

    mods/admin am i right?

    Cheers

    Cam.

    (17:18:34) (+Cam) i need to mount my xbox hdd in linux

    It's more forums like this trying to stay the right side of the law, it's hard to prove I guess the legallity of the build tools.
