DF user's cameras review section?

OK I know this should be in the suggestions section but I think it will get more views/replies from the right people in here.

Basically I've just got my digital camera and am quite happy with it, I would recommend it to other users with similar needs from their camera. If there was a DF users' cameras review section of this section of the forums it could provide a really good database of cameras. It's already obvious that a lot of people have a nice broad range of cameras on here and with a lot of DF being techinically minded (well not all going to PCWorld and saying gimme summat what takes pictures at least) I think their purchasing decisions will generally have been quite good. If people could just post a thread in there with their camera model, a picture of it and some samples and then, crucially, their own point of view I think it would be really useful. I appreciate that there are already great sites that have all of these types of reviews and things and I don't suggest that DF should compete with them. The unique part will be a personal opinion AND contact to ask further questions. If people just post a thread such as Canon xxx 2.1mp £200 and it's threaded alphabetically (possible) there'll be a nice browsable DF database. If I was buying a camera in the future I would go there first, find a nice camera, check it out elsewhere and then probably PM the user to find out any little things about it that I would like to know.

Oh, and incidentally my camera (d'zign 2.1 megapixel) was very hard to find on the standard review sites. To be fair that's because it's a cheap jappo mate but it's still the perfect camera for me and it was down to someone else's knowledge/experience on here that I found it! /me goes off to thank them. :thumbs

Thanks, this section has had a lot of posts from a lot of different users (a lot more than I expected) and I reckon there would be a decent database within a week, which would grow nicely over time.
