Anybody else notice that the music is from that classic game called Project X for the Amiga.. Brought back some memories listening to that!! I think it was played on the intro screen...

that`s an eye-opener, I`m running a P4 2.8gig at the moment, I had a AMD 2.0 gig before and started to have probs (P.C freezing and shutting down etc) turned out CPU was overheating, I had to put a great big fan on to cure the problem. only use pentium now

blah toms hardware is amazingly intel biased and they would typically show something like that to get more intel fanboys... its known that AMD cpu's have had and still do have a heat problem but its not as bad as it used to be and so what if you need a bigger heatsink you normally get more power from AMD's on a bang for your buck basis so im fien with my Athlon64 3200+ =P

I think i'll still be sticking with my peltier cooled 3200+ xp in my pc and my 3000+ athlon64 in my laptop.
i'll readily admit that amd processors get far hotter then intel processors but the fact is that the cost to preformance benifit is just too high

thats about right, i hear amd plan on releasing a 10,000 xp+ son, admittedly its only a 3ghz processor but someone will fall for it thinking its fast

That is why Intel are also changing the way they name the CPU's to a numbers based system as they too now want to get away from people thinking that fastest clock cycles means better performance.
