help needing drivers for jvc camcorder

I wondered if anyone knew where I can download a driver for the JVC GR-D70EK as I have lost mine and I have been onto the JVC website but all I can download is the instruction manuals and a programme for photos but no drivers. If anyone can help me it would be well appreciated

tried that page m8 , it only states downloads for instruction manual etc. it does not give details on the driver as I need it so I can run the camcorder through the pc so I can put it onto dvd-r

ive just had a look round the net m8 and i cant find em either, you deffo had drivers for it yes, its weird that we cant find them.

Anyway you could ask on here m8, also what operating system are you using

I'm running on windows xp pro, I had the driver when I first bought the camcorder, i've been to South Africa for a holiday, took loads of pictures and also used the camcorder to take in the sites, now I'm home I'm wanting to connect the camcorder up to the pc and transfer it to dvd. Thats why Im looking desperatley for a drive for it.

You shouldn't need drivers for a DV Cam afaik all the drivers are built into windows. Mine is just picked up as a 1394 camcorder by Pinnacle studio 9

thats what i was thinkin m8, thats why i thought we couldnt find them, it was just unusual that they cant be found, but i didnt want to sound superior as i dont know anything about these things and its the guys camera not mine so he would know better than me.

is it usb connection? from ur cam to ur pc?

Yes it is a usb connection. When I connect it up to the pc it comes up found new hardware and the name of my camcorder, then the window pops up about drivers, and it needs the cd-rom to install them.
