Help USB to Ird

I bought a usb to infra red device and can't get it to work anyone know of any decent software for these devices.

Any help much appreciated.

i think the software is supplied with the drivers, i have a usb to irda and its worked flawlessly for about 18 months now using the software supplied with it

I have tried everything, it says in the readme file that it should register in control panel/system/device manager. As an Ird device but it doesn't when I try to run the software
it says device not loaded.
