    Default Canon Ixus 500 help...

    :whistle

    Hi,

Just bought my first digital camera & need some advice.

What is the best resolution to use if you intend to print your pics on 6x4 or 7x5 paper ?

Obviously i want the best quality but have noticed that when you use high res 2592x1994 or 2048x1536 the edges don’t look quite right on screen unless you display the full image, would this be the same if you wanted a 6x4 print or is there some kind of pixel reduction process that corrects this when printing ?

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Tks.

Use full resolution, the edges problem is just some programs are rubbish at displaying reduced images causing jagged edges. They'll be fine in a photo.
